I’m a very fastidious kind of homebrew writer. I care a lot about how Wizards would write a feature and try to write it the same way. Lynette still manages to find things I missed. She cleans up my awkward rules text and makes it clearer to read. She’s insightful to a T and will think about the confusion others might have when reading my rules.
Most importantly, she’s a brilliant editor because she can see the art that’s lingering in my sentences but covered up by my stumbling writing. She unearths it, polishes it, and lets it shine.
Lynette has proven to be an invaluable asset in all of my writing. She has helped tremendously on developmental work on first drafts and combing through final drafts with precision. Her keen eyes and expert advice are a boon to any writer looking to bring their home-brew, fiction, and world-building up to new standards! Lynette gets editing done quickly and is very open with communication on all fronts. I honestly cannot recommend her services highly enough.
I'm Lynette, and I currently live in the Pioneer Valley of Massachusetts. I studied Theater for two years at Williams College in Western Massachusetts and, more recently, received a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts with a Concentration in Psychology and Sociology from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I have worked in both professional theater and social science research.
I have been an avid reader and a writer ever since I surprised my mother by reading Hop on Pop aloud in a doctor’s office; I have also been playing various tabletop RPGs for nearly half of my life.
I have a Poynter ACES Certificate in Editing and have experience copyediting both RPG homebrew material and fictional work.
